18 Businesses You Can Start Tomorrow

Publish Books For Authors Online
Between February 10 2012 and now, I have
made over N1.3 Million Naira publishing books
for authors on different ebook channels starting
with no dime.
Be A Social Media Service Provider
Help people to create, manage and promote their
social media platforms.
Cake Making
If you enjoy baking and have an artistic touch,
making and decorating cakes can be a really
satisfying way of earning extra money. One of
my old friends does this and makes quite a bit
on the side.

Childcare
There’s great potential to earn good money from
looking after kids, but you’ll need to adore
children (not just your own), have boundless
energy and patience. My wife's former colleague
in school started this in her sitting room and
today she has taken it to an amazing level.
House Cleaning
You don't need a business space to launch this
business. This is an idea you can start yourself
with or without cash. I know some people in
Lekki, Lagos who make as much as N200,000
monthly running this service.
Laundry & Ironing Services
Even in these cash-strapped times, some people
like me hate ironing so much they’re willing to
pay others to do it (at least in the posh parts of
town). Check out the competition, see how much
they charge, and undercut.
Market Research
Get paid for your opinions by signing up
with sarosresearch.com and taking part in focus
groups, suggests Birtles. “You get between £50-
£100 cash, plus food and drink for saying what
you think about products or services for a few
hours. Or be the one asking the questions. Ipsos
Mori offers flexible hours to people willing to do
phone interviews or knock on doors to ask
people questions. You make between £8-£10 an
hour on average.”
Teach Pupils And Kids How To Play Instruments
If you can play a musical to a high enough
standard, you make a lot of money as a
professional music teacher in Schools
Personal Organizer/Assistant If you are good at
filing and managing tasks, and know someone
who isn’t, why not offer to share your expertise
with them for a small consideration? Being
organized is a valuable skill, and whether it’s for
a small company or a friend, there may be more
of a market for this than meets the eye.
Personal Tutoring
If you are a part-time teacher or are perhaps
taking a career break to look after young
children, this can be a great way to make some
money while keeping your syllabus knowledge up
to date.
Create A Blog And Sell Adverts
Linda Ikeji and other top Nigerian bloggers have
made millions of Naira running this business.
“Set up your own blog (do it for free with
blogger.com ) and fill it with great writing,
photos, videos and anything else you’re
passionate about,” she advises. “Get ads
automatically through Google Adsense and make
a few pence every time someone clicks on an
ad.”
Website Designing
An increasingly competitive field as the software
needed becomes more and more mainstream.
However if you have a good eye for design
generally and formal training, it can be a
profitable side business.
Wedding/Social Photographer
You’ll need a website or blog to showcase your
work, but if you’re confident that your
photography is good enough, there’s no reason
why you can’t do wedding/function work
professionally. Do your homework though –
you’ll need to take charge of arranging people
into groups and know all the classic poses
expected for the occasion.
Be A Proofreader
If you have eye that can easily detect errors, this
service can bring you financial freedom. I have
made some reasonable cash rendering this
service.
Nanny Service
Place nannies with families that hire your
service.
You can make as much as 20% from each of
your nannies. Target large metropolitan areas
where dual-income couples are most likely to
reside.
Public Speaking
If you have the talent, this is a huge money
spinner. This is one of my major streams of
income.
Connect Buyers And Sellers To Earn Your
Commission
Look for products that are on high demand and
connect the sellers and buyers.
Sell Information Products
Do you know something that others will be
willing to pay for, put it in a manual and sell.
Use the principle of print on demand.
Make use of these ideas for your financial
freedom.

Wenger lambasts Mourinho for saying £300m spent not enough

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has told his Manchester United counterpart, Jose Mourinho, that he has spent 21 years not being able to spend as much as his title rivals. Wenger was reacting to Mourinho’s comments that the £300m he has spent so far at Old Trafford, is still  not enough to compete with Manchester City.   When the Gunners boss was asked on Wednesday about the Portuguese remarks, he said: “I have been in that position for 21 years so I can’t start to complain now. “There have always been three or four teams richer than I am. I’ve learned to cope with that. “We deal with our own situation as well as we can. “Man City, Chelsea and Man United are all richer than us. Have to find ways to be successful.” Source:DPN.
