Nollywood actress Shan George lost her sister at the tail end of 2017. According to actress, her younger sister died in an auto accident, five days after the Calabar festival they both attended. In a post on social media on Sunday, George recalled that she and her sibling made a video when they arrived Calabar for the festivities. “She arrived an hour ahead of me. After the carnival celebrations she decided to leave back to Port-Harcourt her base, yesterday”, she wrote. “But she never got home. My baby sister, Queen had an accident and died on the spot. As she lies dead in the mortuary where her corpse was deposited since yesterday evening my heart is shattered into a billion pieces. “Why you go and do me like this girl? You have been my pillar since mama got bedridden. I’m looking at all our carnival Pixs and videos of just 2 days ago. This is Damn hard. “Rest In Peace Little One. Till we meet again. 2019: Kebbi APC endorses Buhari, Bagudu

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State including the state governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu have endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari for second term. Also, federal and state House of Assembly members, APC elders forum, 21 elected local government chairmen as well as all the local government APC party chairmen in the state have all vowed to work for the president’s re-election in 2019. The move was initiated by members of the Kebbi State House of Assembly under the leadership of the Speaker, Alhaji Abdulmumin Kamba, supported by his members during Kebbi State APC delegates meeting at Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi, at the weekend. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), on Monday urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. CAN said Nigerians should support Buhari in his efforts to turn around the nation’s economy. CAN Chairman in Ogun State, Bishop Tunde Akinsanya, made the call while speaking News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in Abeokuta, the state capital. Akinsanya said the support became necessary to realise the plan of God for the country. He also appealed to Nigerians to intensify prayers on the president’s efforts to realise the policies and programmes for the country.
