Marketing Communication teachers
and professionals will converge on
Fountain University campus for the
grand finale of the maiden edition
of Creativity Challenge, a marketing
communication competition
organized by Mass Communication
Students Association (MACOSA)
Fountain University Chapter.
The programme scheduled to hold
on Thursday December 7th will
have as panel of judges erudite
marketing communication dons
including Dr. Yinka Egbokhare of
the Department of Communication
and Language Arts, University of
Ibadan and Dr. Saudat Salah Abdul
Baaqi, the Head, Department of
Mass Communication, University of
Ilorin.
Other marketing communication
professionals on the panel are Mr.
Ayoola Gbade Bello, CEO, Bedouin
Communication Limited and Mr.
Rasheed Bolarinwa, Head,
Corporate Communications, Skye
Bank, Lagos.
The challenge, aimed at encouraging
a healthy competition among
students in marketing
communication, would have
participating students formed into 5
different agencies who will be
slugging it out to implement a brief
for the Nigerian vehicle maker
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing
Company across platforms including
Print, Radio, TV and web.
The programme, which will also
help in preparing students for the
annual Rodgers Hatchuel
Competition, will see overall
winners, first and second runners
up emerging at the end of the grand
finale..
