The Chairman, House Committee on Works, Transport and Communication in Kogi State House of Assembly, Moses Ododo has warned electorates in Kogi State not to cast their votes for ‘money bag’ politicians, saying it will spell doom for the confluence state.
Ododo who stated this weekend in Lokoja said he joined politics to expose the lies of politicians.
The lawmaker who is also the member representing Dekina Biraidu in the hallowed chamber noted that joining politics should be about creating wealth and not making wealth as widely practised by politicians in the country today.
He said, politicians were expected to leave worthy legacies that will stand the test of time rather than creating wealth for themselves
” Servicing godfathers and voting money bag politicians means disaster for the future of Kogi State. Electorate should vote politicians based on his antecedents, competence, rather than vote money bag politicians who do not mean well for the people,” the lawmaker added.
